Opening count, roughly what proportion are exterior, what the building does, and whether anyone has ever put the doors on a schedule. That is enough to get to a sensible range on the call.

What decides the figure
- How many openings there are, which buildings are routinely wrong about.
- How many are exterior or high-cycle, since those take the time.
- Whether corrective work is needed before a round makes sense.
- Whether parts are carried or approved individually.
The conversation costs nothing. A first walk-through is quoted before it happens, and the findings from it belong to you regardless of what you do next.
Why there is no price list
Opening counts vary by an order of magnitude
A tenant suite with nine openings and a school with a hundred and forty are both normal customers. A figure that suited one would be badly misleading for the other.
Condition at the start is unknowable from outside
Two buildings of identical size can need completely different amounts of corrective work before a schedule makes any sense. Only a walk-through settles that.
Rated openings carry different obligations
Labelled fire door assemblies are constrained in what can be adjusted, what products may be used, and what has to be documented. A building with thirty of them is a different engagement from one with none.
Access is a real cost and an invisible one
Work that has to happen before opening, between shifts, with an escort, or from a lift is not the same visit as work in an empty building on a weekday.
A published figure would be defended rather than tested
Once a number is on a website it starts shaping the survey, and the survey is the part that needs to be honest. We would rather arrive with no number to protect.
